When Black unemployment was at its lowest recorded numbers, under Donald Trump, the Democrats were loathed to applaud that fact during the 2018 State of the Union address. Democrats knew that if Blacks began to realize progress under a Trump administration that the hate Trump propaganda would lose its potency.
